If you are having a tough time finding new shows to watch over the coming weekend, consider it over. There are plenty of new shows (including reality TV) that are available, so you can watch them this weekend.
The list ranges from reality show Love is Blind Season 10 to crime thriller Cross (Season 2). In simple words, you will have plenty to choose from. Just follow the prerequisites to cherish your entertainment weekend to the fullest.
The Essentials for the Best Streaming Experience
I know that none of my readers would appreciate TV shows with a bunch of problems with streaming. So, before you load up the TV, make sure to sort these essentials:
The first thing I suggest is sound. The directors and editors of the movie put a lot of effort into making every scene as realistic as possible with the help of sound. If you truly want to experience their attention to detail, have a sound bar connected to your TV.
The other step you can take to ensure a hassle-free streaming experience is a fast WiFi connection. There are multiple options available in the US you can choose from: Xfinity Internet is one of the best in the US, and I am thoroughly satisfied with it.
Last but not least, cut the distractions. If you are watching shows on your TV or laptop, the first thing you should do to avoid distractions is put your phone away. The unnecessary ding of notifications will not let you enjoy the shows. So, pause them for a bit.
Now, let’s head to the new shows you can stream on different OTT platforms.
The Best New Shows to Stream
Love is Blind Season 10
This is arguably the most famous reality dating show in the World, and rightly so – the format of the show is insane. Single men and women gather on the show, and they don’t meet (see each other) unless they are engaged. For engagement, they chat behind the curtains, share stories, experiences, and stuff about life. They choose only based on personality.
Once they are engaged, the real drama begins, and that’s what viewers (you and me) are there for. This time around, the participants are based in Ohio, so you can expect some crazy stuff happening in season 10.
Oh, and it is available on Netflix to stream.
The Artful Dodger Season 2
Season 2 is here, and if you have watched Season 1, you will likely be hooked at the cliffhanger where Jack Dawkins has hit the lowest point in his life.
The protagonist of the show is played by Thomas Brodie Sangster. Other members of the cast aren’t short of an impressive portfolio with notable names including David Thewlis (from the Harry Potter series), Maia Mitchell, and more.
Belle, played by Maia, wants to continue her medical aspirations even though it goes against her father’s order and despite the scandal (I won’t spoil it). On the other side, Norbert is plotting against Jack.
What will happen at the end? I really don’t know. We have to watch the show to find out.
It can be streamed on Hulu and Disney Plus.
Cross Season 2
Season 2 of Cross is going to be my choice for this weekend’s streaming. I loved Season 1, and I hope that Season 2 will be as good as Season 1.
If you haven’t watched Season 1, let me tell you that the show is about crime and untangling the mysteries around the crime. Alex Cross is the protagonist of the show. In season 2, he teams up with Kayla Craig to go against the mafia of billionaires who commit crimes that are beyond imagination.
The twist is that another billionaire requests protection from the FBI amid a looming life threat, and that’s when Alex steps in to solve the mystery along with Kayla.
The story was built wonderfully in season 1 – if you haven’t watched that, please do so to fully comprehend season 2.
The show is a Prime special, and you can stream it there.
Can You Keep a Secret?
I have been talking about season 2 for a while. Now, let me talk about a fresh new comedy show that’s British – Can You Keep a Secret?
It’s one of those shows that you watch lying back while munching on your French fries (or shall I say ‘chips’?).
The story revolves around the Fendon family, where Granny wants to protect their family in some of the cleverest ways, which is funny. The story takes a big turn when the grandfather, who is supposedly dead, turns out to be alive. I expect this show to go even crazier from this point on, so I will most likely watch it. Click here for more information.
It is available exclusively on Paramount+ to stream.
All in all, these are the new shows that you can watch by the end of this week. To conclude, I’d like to say just make sure to have all those above-mentioned essentials ready when streaming to make your experience the best.
